As we approach the end of the year, it’s a good time to reflect on how your business has performed thus far. A good first step would be to determine how profitable your business has been. Then ask yourself the following questions:
- How does the profitability meet with my expectations for the year? Should I consider changing my estimated tax payments?
- Are there any purchases I should make before the end of the year (including larger equipment purchases)?
- Should I contribute more to my retirement plan?
We would be happy to help you answer any of these questions, or just get a handle on your profitability for this year so far.
Now is also a good time to start thinking about sending your vendors Form 1099’s at the end of the year. We like to talk a lot about this on our blog, so click here for a blog posting on this topic.
