We are currently seeking a candidate to fill our blended role of payroll specialist and administrative support. This is a full-time position that includes a variety of essential tasks from processing payroll to helping with front desk duties. Below is a more in-depth description of this position:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Payroll Processing:
- Process weekly, biweekly, monthly and bonus payrolls
- File biweekly and monthly tax payments
- Process quarterly and annual tax filings (extra hours may be needed)
- Learn and manage multiple payroll platforms
(Current systems include: ACS, QuickBooks Desktop and Online, SurePayroll)
Administrative Support:
- Cover receptionist position 8-10 hours per week
- Assist receptionist by answering phones and performing administrative tasks
- Process mail
- Additional duties may be added during tax season
Qualifications
- Commitment to Geenen & Kolean’s core values of Trust, Responsiveness, Engagement, and being Entrepreneurial
- Successful completion of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree
- Highly motivated critical thinker that can work independently
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in payroll processing and payroll tax returns
- Previous office experience preferred
