Each year we hire an intern to assist us during the busyness of tax season. This year, we hired two great students from Hope College. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank them for all their hard work this season. Thanks guys!
Here’s a little more information about this year’s interns:
Tyler Spaulding is in his junior year at Hope College. He was born and raised in our beloved town of Holland, MI where he continues to take pride in his Dutch heritage and frugality. In his spare time, Tyler enjoys fly-fishing, traveling, camping, and watching sports. At G&K, Tyler has enjoyed experiencing his first tax season while learning a wide variety of accounting and other important life skills. He is excited to see where the field of Public Accounting will take him!
Dan Kuiper was born and raised in the land of tulips: Holland, Michigan. He is currently a junior at Hope College studying public accounting. He enjoys working at Geenen and Kolean because of the people that make up the firm, and the wide variety of tasks he is challenged with day in and day out. He hopes to graduate, receive his CPA license, and begin his career in a CPA firm. Besides doing taxes, he enjoys taking stats for the Hope College sports teams, fishing, and playing sports.
